The ERNIE Award

Wry Toastmasters takes the leadership track of Toastmasters as serious as the communication track.

All members are encouraged to work on the Competent Leader (CL) manual, and take on leadership activities in the club.
Numerous members of Wry were or are District officers (Area Governors, Division Governors, and even District Governors) to help the District achieve its goals.

Member who consistently demonstrate a particularily steadfast commitment to excellence are eligible for consideration to be awarded the Wry Toastmasters ERNIE award - named after Ernie Nicastro, one of the most committed members in the history of Wry Toastmasters.
